Phoenix Club Anniversary game

On Saturday 8th December, the Phoenix Club is celebrating its 2nd anniversary with a special Bounty tournament. The tournament starts at 6pm and the details are as follows -

£50 entry + £25 Bounty
15,000 chips
3,000 chips bonus for early registration
Reregistration allowed until the break
4x30 minute levels before the break - 20 minute levels after

This tournament was very popular last year, so make sure you reserve your place now!

Introducing "The Phoenix"

At last - "The Phoenix" rises! The club is Sharpening its Claws and Spreading its Wings, so get your game in order!

Starting in February 2013, we will be having a monthly feature tournament called "The Phoenix".

The tournament will be held on the first Sunday of every month at 1pm. Entry will be £100 for 15,000 chips with an optional add-on of £50 for 15,000 chips. 30 minute blinds throughout.

We are guaranteeing a prize pool of £5,000 (yes £5,000!!) and there will be plenty of ways in which you can qualify to play in this event.

There will be Sit and Gos, Lotteries and Tickets awarded in all competitions where we generate more than £1,000 in the prize pool. If you take part in our brand new Cash Race, tickets can be won there as well.

Interest is already growing for the first event to be held on the 3rd February. Make sure you are part of it!

Live final table

We are please to announce that the Phoenix club is getting a new final table

But not just any final table – this one will have cameras attached to it and will be streamed live on our website !!!!

We have all seen the pro`s play with their hole cards visible – well now its our turn to be the stars

The table will be seated in the VIP/snooker room and it uses the latest Rfid technology where there are hidden chips in the cards to display the hole cards with percentage chance of winning a hand a hand displayed

This will be streamed live every night on our website so even if you aren’t at the club that night ,then you can still keep up with the action ,plus we will be installing a live chat facility to commentate on what you are seeing

The table will be fitted next Tuesday and launched with a Bounty game on Sat 3^rd March at 4pm

Buy in for this game will be £50 for 15,000 chips and £25 for the bounty , we will allow re registration up to the break and at the break you can buy an add on of 20,000 chips for £25 , anyone sat down for the first hand will also receive 2500 extra chips

We will run satellites to this game on this fri,sun and next Friday  also possible is taking prize money out of any game up to then to give a seat to the winner (subject to players approval)

We are pleased to announce that on the 1st sunday of every month we will be having a high stakes STT starting at 2pm
the entry fee will be £250 and a maximum of 10 players with a prizepool of £2500
the payout structure will be
1st - £1250
2nd - £750
3rd - £500
we will be running satellites for this every sunday night at 8 pm with ten runners and £25 entry
after this the other places will be open on a first come first served basis
first satellite is tonight at 8pm

WSOP and Vegas 2012

The Phoenix are going to Vegas !!!
This year we will be sending players from the Phoenix to play in the World Series of Poker

The packages consist of:
Flight and accomodation for 2 people (player and guest)
Entry into a WSOP side event ($1000 stake)

Spending money ($1000)

You can only qualify the following way - twice a month we will be holding satellites , the 10 winners of these satellites will then play the final where packages will be awarded (GTD 2 packages)

The format for the satellites will be

Entry - £25 Double chance
Chips - 10000 (each life)
Blinds - 20 mins

Final - 20,000 chips - 30 min blinds

There is no direct buy in to the final and there will be no cash alternatives to the satellites or the final prize if a players wins more than one seat then they will be allowed to sell it
